Outfit: March 18, 2011

Well here we go again with some familiar pieces of clothing all mixed together for this casual Friday outfit. I would have normally worn jeans today but since I was seeing a client, I had to wear cords instead. See, I am dedicated to my professionalism despite what others say.

Blouse (have I mentioned I don't like that word?): Target
Tank: Banana Republic
Cords: Old Navy
Ribbon Belt: J. Crew
Metallic flats: Target
Big ol' bracelets: Some teeny bopper store at a strip mall

Where: work, meeting with client, grocery store, home.
No post for me today... I'll be posting the whole weekend at once, on Sunday night. A little experiment... Have a good weekend!

Outfit: St. Patrick's Day! (March 17, 2011)

Oh, hello, double chin! Pull up a bar stool and have a Guinness! Today in celebration of my Irish heritage, I am wearing a green dress. Yes, you have seen it before but have you seen it with these tights that appear to be salmon in color instead of a more modern pink type color? It would have been better if I had orange tights on but I don't so suck it. Oh wait, I don't want to alienate any viewer(s). Suck on a Tootsie Pop! And now to my O'Outfit:

Green McDress: T.J. Maxx
Pink O'Tights: T.J. Maxx
Black Shoesaussey: Payless
Gold Bangles (and Mash): Shabby Apple

Where: Sadly, not the bars. Work, telephone hearing, my office where I have been listening to college students and the unemployed enjoy my homeland's holiday since 9:00 a.m., the childcare center to pick up my darling child, the Co-Op so I can make organic vegan Reuben sammiches and potatoes, home to eat said sammiches and tators.

Top o' the mid afternoon to ya! Erin Go Bragh!

Outfit: March 17, 2011

Ahh, St. Patrick's Day. I am not even a smidge Irish, but it's kind of fun to have a designated "green" day. Especially since I rarely wear green, and even more rarely remember to wear green on March 17th. But since I picked out my clothes the night before, problem solved.

Green v-neck t-shirt: Kohl's
Flyaway cardigan: Cynthia Rowley via TJ Maxx
Cargo pants: Old Navy
Beaded ballet flats: Naughty Monkey
Scarf: don't remember, a gift
Giant green ring: Forever 21

Where: Errands, playdate and lunch, playing outside (swapped out the flats for rubber boots), work at home.

Outfit: March 16, 2011

I knew when I woke up this morning that it was going to be neither a pleasant nor a fashionable day. I was right. I chucked the outfit I had planned (I just couldn't bear wearing bright pink today - too cheerful) and put on something plain instead. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day. (Sleeve lengths inspired by this post at Blue Collar Catwalk.)

Tan sweater (underneath): Old Navy
Cardigan: Target
Jeans: Calvin Klein bootcut
Harness boots: White Mountain
Serpentine necklace: gift from my husband
Big gold ring: Shopthelook.net

Where: Gymnastics class, shopping, work at home, farmshare pickup, swim lessons, work at home. Exhausting.

Outfit: March 15, 2011

Apparently I was feeling kind of nautical today. I had super-high hopes for this shirt - I've been wanting to do dolman sleeves and stripes, and this combines both - but I'm not sure about it. Maybe with different pants? Speaking of pants... I need new jeans desperately. (Although I promise these aren't as short as they look in the photo.) I think I'm going to start stalking the UPS driver until my package arrives.

Dolman striped top: Bella D (TJ Maxx)
Navy ivy-print scarf: Lands End Canvas
Jeans: Calvin Klein bootcut
Grey buckle boots: White Mountain
"Rope braid" silver cuff: Sam Moon (similar)

Outfit: March 15, 2011

I am not thrilled with this outfit. It's not particularly flattering and my boobs look saggy or misshapen. Disfigured? Wow, that is not an attractive thought. I think it might be the pattern of the dress or something. Anyhow, I am trying to distract our viewers from the horrible tragedy that it my boobage by doing a fun little side kick. However, the whole distraction thing has miserably failed since I pointed out my area of concern. Where were we?

Dress: Target
Shirt: Target
Tights: No idea.
Shoes: Nickels (I bought them to wear at a wedding when I was pregnant because my feet became enormously wide and none of my fancy shoes fit. I am wearing them today because they are comfortable.)

Where: Work where I have a telephone hearing (I can't subject the hearing officer to this outfit), client meeting, lunch with a friend, picking up my child at a brewery (we want to start him young.)

Tomorrow I promise to be less frumptastic and more fabulous.

Outfit: March 14, 2011

Oh, looky! I've posted two views of the same outfit. Aren't we all lucky today? This blog is making me think more about what I am wearing and I am getting more creative.

Grey Tweed Jacket: J. Crew
Knit dress: Calvin Klein
Tights: Unknown
Brown Harness Boots: White Mountain
Watch: Swatch! (I added the exclamation point because I am so excited to have a Swatch watch again. Did you know that Swatch stores were everywhere when I was in Asia?)

Where: Work, the courthouse, the veterinarian's office, Starbucks (a girl needs her chai.)

Outfit: March 14, 2011

My husband hates this dress so I usually wear it when he's away. But I love the color and neckline, and it's so comfortable. It can skew a little "maternity" though.

Dress: Old Navy
Grey cami: Costco
Grey leggings: Kohls
Boots: Target
Necklace: gift, from a boutique in Providence
Bracelet: gift, Tiffany

Where: Zillions of errands, work at home, movie night.
